Waffles

Happy Father's Day!
We made these yummy waffles for the special Daddy at our house.  This is a basic waffle recipe.  Simple to make and everyone enjoyed them.  I also made some raspberry sauce to go with these.  Our raspberries are just starting to ripen and the kids were able to pick enough for a small batch.

Ingredients (from allrecipes.com)
2 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 3/4 cups milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon white sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions

Preheat waffle iron. Beat eggs in large bowl with hand beater until fluffy. Beat in flour, milk, vegetable oil, sugar, baking powder, salt and vanilla, just until smooth.
Spray preheated waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray. Pour mix onto hot waffle iron. Cook until golden brown. Serve hot.

Delicious and fun!  Since this is a basic recipe I'm thinking I can add different things to it like blueberries, chocolate chips, cinnamon, etc...  Or make it as written and change the toppings.  Give it a try and have fun!
